Computer Hardware & Software Repair

I spent my time from December 2016 through July 2021 as a Head Technician for an independant electronic repair shop.

As a repair tech, I was tasked with evaluation, diagnosis, and repair of hardware and software issues with various types of consumer electronics. While I primarily worked with computers, I was also exposed to other devices like phones, tablets, printers, and various pieces of specialty equipment.

The primary skillset of a role like this is obviously knowledge of computer hardware and software, but an often overlooked element is communication. When an end user trusts you with what is often one of the most expensive things they own, it is imperitive that you treat both their belongings and them with respect. I pride myself on my ability to ensure that clients are kept in the loop and that the job is done quickly and thoroughly.
